Inko Calo Ink Co., Ltd. (Hubei) is a joint venture. Its parent company's headquarters is located in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. The group has two production bases in Australia, one in Sydney, New South Wales, and the other in Melbourne, Victoria. Additionally, it has a joint venture company for the same product category in Jakarta, Indonesia, with the advantage of an international production and cooperation layout.
Since the beginning of 1998, the group has been conducting research and planning for the Chinese market. After comprehensive market research and feasibility analysis, it determined to independently invest and build a factory in China in 1998, and registered and established Inko Calo Ink (China) Co., Ltd. in Australia. In 1999, the domestic site selection work was initiated, and the Kunshan production base in Jiangsu Province officially started production in February 2000, becoming the group's first production and operation base in the Chinese region.
      Relying on the industrial experience accumulated from long-term operations in China, in 2019, the enterprise responded to the investment promotion policy of Hubei Province's Yicheng City, and settled in Xicheng City, Yicheng District, Hubei Province, the Sefu Industrial Park. It planned to invest in building a modern and environmentally friendly ink production base. The project investment scale is 10 million US dollars. The base officially started production and operation in August 2021, with a planned annual production capacity of 10,000 tons of environmentally friendly ink products, and a 1,150-ton solvent packaging operation project was also constructed. It can meet the stable, standardized, and large-scale production supply needs.
       The company specializes in the research and production of water-based and solvent-based ink products that are suitable for high-end soft packaging printing processes. They can be applied to flexographic, intaglio, and composite printing processes, and are compatible with various printing substrates such as paper, white card, layer paper, aluminum foil, pure aluminum, PE, BOPP, PET, and copper plate paper. The products are widely used in packaging printing scenarios for food, dairy products, seasonings, beverages, snack foods, infant and children's hygiene care, and other categories, serving the soft packaging composite printing industry's supporting needs.
